This path is different from opening WhatsApp Web or using the consumer app. Meta owns business verification, template review, messaging policy, quality controls, and provider charges. FormBeacon cannot bypass a rejected template or turn free-form text into an approved template.

Meta charges businesses per delivered message under its current WhatsApp Business Platform pricing model. Rates and chargeable categories depend on Meta's current rules and market, so review Meta's official pricing page instead of copying an old rate table. FormBeacon does not add a separate WhatsApp usage fee, but its paid plan and Meta's provider charges remain separate costs.

1. Decide who should receive the message

Choose whether the destination is an internal operator number or a respondent-facing number. FormBeacon's configured WhatsApp destination is fixed; it does not take a respondent's phone answer and dynamically send to that number. Any customer-facing use must have an appropriate lawful basis, notice, consent where required, and an approved Meta template.

2. Prepare the Meta business assets

Use the official Meta business and developer interfaces to create or select the business portfolio, app, WhatsApp Business Account, and sending phone number. Record the phone-number ID separately from the visible phone number. Do not guess identifiers from browser URLs.

3. Create an appropriate access token

For testing, Meta may present temporary credentials. Production operation requires a deliberately managed token with access to the exact WhatsApp assets and the permissions Meta currently requires. Paste it directly into FormBeacon and never include it in a screenshot, support ticket, or form.

4. Create and wait for template approval

Create a template in WhatsApp Manager with the appropriate category, language, body, and ordered variables. Wait until Meta shows it as approved for the exact name and language. FormBeacon cannot send a pending, paused, disabled, mismatched, or rejected template as though it were approved.

5. Map variables by exact question title

In FormBeacon, enter the approved template name and language and list the Google Form question titles in the exact variable order expected by the template. A changed question title can break the mapping. This WhatsApp mapping is separate from ordinary FormBeacon text variables.

6. Save and test with a controlled recipient

Use a number you are authorized to message and fictional form values. Confirm the provider accepts the template and the values appear in the intended positions. Check the destination country code and phone number carefully; a successful send to the wrong person is a serious privacy incident.

7. Submit the form end to end

Submit the copied Google Form once, confirm one WhatsApp template message, then inspect the Google response. Distinguish Meta acceptance from human reading.
